Rebellion’s upcoming Sniper Elite 5 will feature locations inspired by Guernsey, according to the island’s local newspaper.
According to the publication, Rebellion staff visited Guernsey back in 2018 in for note taking and also snapping reference shots of World War II-era equipment and weaponry. In addition, they also scanned and took photographs of coastal areas where German bunkers and fortifications feature, including Fort Hommet.
It’s worth nothing that Guernsey doesn’t seem to be featuring in the game itself, but the research and photos done by Rebellion will mean that some areas will be included that are clearly inspired by the channel island.
