The PS5 hardware reveal trailer has become the most liked YouTube video in PlayStation history, so it’s fair to say that most people are definitely impressed with the design of Sony’s next-generation powerhouse.
PS5 Hardware Trailer Is A Massive YouTube Success
At the time of writing, the PS5 design trailer sits at over two million views, and has amassed 1.1 million likes against only 49,000 dislikes. Not too shabby, we think you’ll agree. Regarding the design itself, Sony recently offered an explanation as to why it’s a little more bulky than perhaps some expected.
Sony has confirmed that there will be two versions of the new system available at launch: one with a disc drive and one for digital media only. No price point has been confirmed yet, but the format holder said it is aiming to emphasise value over price.
The PS5 is scheduled for release in holiday 2020, around the same time as the Xbox Series X from Microsoft is due to ship.
