As well as a Spider-Man PS4 day-one patch, it looks like a New Game Plus mode is definitely going to be thing for Insomniac’s latest adventure. The day-one patch was confirmed by Insomniac’s community director, James Stevenson, this week, which will be deployed on September 4.
Review copies are currently in the hands on many review outlets, and YouTuber Evan Filarca, who is the head founder of the @spidey_squad claims to have some more information. Judging by the screenshot below, it appears that the day-one patch may include New Game Plus.
Evan writes:
And right after I made this video there’s a also been an update from Insomniac and Marvel saiying that there will indeed be a day one patch of Spider-Man PS4, including:
- New Game + along with additional Ultimate difficulty level
- Continued additional polish and minor bug fixing
- Photo Mode, including the ability add fun stickers and frames
Earlier this week, Insomniac also provided details of the first Spider-Man DLC release date. This will include a brand-new story called The City That Never Sleeps, consisting of three new chapters. The game length and initial file size was also revealed.
