The Streets of Rage 4 release date for PlayStation 4 has been officially announced, as publisher Dotemu has confirmed that Streets of Rage 4 will release on April 30, 2020 and will retail for $24.99. In addition, Dotemu has also announced the return of the legacy Battle Mode, too.
In case you missed the earlier news, Streets of Rage 4 will allow players to enable a retro visual veneer which whisks the whole experience back to the 16-bit pixels of old.
Additionally, Streets of Rage 4 is also set to have a super swanky physical release thanks to Limited Run Games, while it was also announced that Streets of Rage 4 will support 4 player co-op play, both locally and via the miracle of online multiplayer.
Elsewhere, the full Streets of Rage 4 trophy list has also been leaked – providing some neat insight into the various levels and enemies that you’ll fight during the course of the game. Beware though – the list is full of spoilers.
When we went hands-on with Streets of Rage 4 last year, we were extremely impressed to say the least, which bodes well for the game’s prospects when it releases in less than two weeks time. We can’t wait. Can you?
