Ubisoft has announced in a blog post that Watch Dogs Legion‘s online mode and features have been delayed to early 2021 due to the team needing to focus on solving issues with the main version of the game.
The blog post highlights that the team has been working to resolve a number of the issues players have been seeing since the game launched a month ago and these issues will continue to be fixed. As a result, these offline features have been delayed to early 2021 to continue this work.
This online mode was detailed just before launch and will feature co-op missions and up to four-player co-op in the open world. There will also be a number of PvP modes for you to play with other players.
Watch Dogs Legion is now out on both PS5 and PS4 and we have reviewed the title on both platforms. Our longer PS4 review discusses the game and how it falls into a tired open-world formula. Meanwhile, our PS5 review of the game praises it a little more for its far prettier version of London.
