Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has surpassed 20 million players since its launch almost two years ago.

Still, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been a huge success for Ubisoft, having set a record for first-week sales for the franchise.

Ubisoft supported the game with extensive post-launch content, including three expansions of varying sizes in the shape of Wrath of the Druids, The Siege of Paris and Dawn of Ragnarok. There’s also one more free expansion lined up for this year in the form of The Last Chapter.
Assassin’s Creed is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, with the next chapter in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, due out on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in 2023.
