Dying Light 2: Stay Human has already been a part of Gamescom 2021 through the gameplay deep dive we got just days ago, but we got another big look at the game today as Gamescom 2021 continues, this time focusing in on the game’s parkour and combat.
This special Gamescom edition of Dying 2 Know, the series of deep dives developer Techland has been doing to promote the game mainly focused on the combat and parkour while interviewing developers.
You can check out the gameplay for Dying Light 2: Stay Human coming to PS5 and PS4 on December 7, 2021 for yourself, right here:
Developer Techland seems to be trying to take everything that people loved about the first game and expand it further than ever before, as they’ve boasted in previous reveals about how many different animations simply for different methods of traversal and parkour there are in the game. The depth of Dying Light 2: Stay Human at least from a gameplay perspective seems very strong, at least from these previews.
Unfortunately however it seems that issues within the studio run as deep as the gameplay mechanics. A report was published earlier this year that revealed a bevy of issues within Techland due to a toxic environment created by poor leadership, not dis-similar to issues currently prevalent with Activision Blizzard and Ubisoft.
