Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is out today for PS5, which means if you already own the original version of the game on PS4, you can claim your free PS5 upgrade now.
As previously reported, this upgrade is only available to those of you who have purchased the PS4; if you claimed the free edition on PS Plus earlier in the year, you’ll still have to pay for the PS5 edition.
For everyone else, hit up the PlayStation Store now to claim your free PS5 upgrade. To grab it, look up Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on the PS Store, and click the three dots next to the game’s listing. Next, select the ‘upgrade for PS4 version owners.’ If you’re playing on disc, you will need to insert it.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is now available for PS5, and includes a wealth of visual and performance upgrades over the PS4 version. The game loads in mere seconds, and also comes with a new mission featuring Yuffie, known as INTERmission.
Development of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 is progression smoothly, and will feature a ‘different atmosphere’ than the first entry.
