Insomniac Games listened to the outcry from fans, frustrated that their PS4 saves for Marvel’s Spider-Man won’t transfer over to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. The developer announced via Twitter, that in an upcoming Thanksgiving update, you will be able to export your Spider-Man PS4 game saves to Spider-Man Remastered on PS5.
In addition, three new Spidey suits from the Remastered version will be available in the update to PS4 players, whether you have beaten the game or not. Also, Insomniac confirmed that players will be able to upgrade their standard version of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales for $20 and unlock Spider-Man Remastered from the in-game menu.
Keep in mind that the trophy list for this remaster is separate, so whether or not you already got the Platinum trophy in the original Spider-Man on PS4, you can Platinum the game again in the Remastered version on PS5.
