The huge popularity of Fortnite is spurring rumors that a Fortnite TV Show could be being set up to air, with Disney XD behind its launch.
Though the American digital cable and satellite channel has yet to officially announce a Fortnite TV show, it’s being suggested that an episodic drama may be in the works.
Fortnite TV Show Rumor
The rumor comes from Twitter account @DisnayXD. This appears to be a parody account, though it hasn’t stopped the rumors from spreading across the web. They posted:
Fortnite is being turned into a TV show: “Fortnite: The TV Show will premier on August the 12, 2019!
It’s definitely not out of the question. There’s something of a plot in Fortnite, and enough colorful characters to include, plus a huge audience of Fortnite fans that would watch it.

In Fortnite, which consists of two main modes – Save the World and Battle Royale – players jump out of the Battle Bus and land on a huge map. It’s then case of survival as they scrambled around for the best weapons and aim to be the last-man-standing.
