Sony has announced an MLB The Show 21 Technical Test for February 23, 2021, which will last for about a week and help stress test the online servers, cross-platform play, and more.
Sing-ups for the tech test are available here and on both PlayStation platforms and Xbox platforms to ensure cross-play works well. The stress test will gather players’ feedback on gameplay and also be closed, so be sure to read the rules before playing.
MLB The Show 21 was revealed earlier this month, alongside details on the three Collector’s Editions on the game, which will have a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade. Standard Edition owners won’t have access to that free upgrade. For those looking to carry progress over from the previous game in specific modes, that feature won’t be available in this year’s entry. You will have to start again.
