New Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Warzone Details Leak

Fresh details on the long-rumored Call of Duty Modern Warfare Warzone mode have leaked online, including the first gameplay footage of the battle royale mode in action.

First, there’s a roundup of the latest details. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Warzone will be free-to-play and is a standalone battle royale game, and features 150 players. However, there’s murmurs this may extend to 200 players at one point. Modes include Solos/Duos/Trios.

In addition, there’s classic maps being integrated into the mix, and cross-platform is also touted. Players spawn with a pistol, and there’s no attachments; instead, you acquire pre-made blueprints across five rarity levels. Amor comes in three different levels.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Warzone is supposedly being lined up for a March 10 release, so it’ll be out very soon.

Call of Duty Warzone is reportedly going to be made available to existing Call of Duty Modern Warfare owners via a grey-out menu, but you will also be able to download it separately for free. Warzone will apparently featured unified progression with Modern Warfare’s battle ass, allowing for cosmetic unlocks.

Activision is allegedly positioning Call of Duty Warzone as one of its three pillars alongside Call of Duty Mobile and its full priced series entires.

Call of Duty 2020 has already been confirmed by Activision, but there’s no details currently available on it. However, previous rumors have claimed the game is going to be a new entry in the Black Ops series helmed by Treyarch.
