Sony Interactive Entertainment President and CEO, Jim Ryan, has announced that more than 25 PS5 exclusives are currently in production at PlayStation Studios.
Speaking on the day that Sony’s latest home console celebrates its one-year anniversary – see more details on that here – Ryan made it clear that its first-party developers have been busy working on the next wave of PS5-exclusives.
The imaginative game creators and publishing partners we work with have launched more than 360 games on PS5. Additionally, there are currently more than 25 games in development for PS5 at PlayStation Studios.
Among some of the bigger upcoming exclusives include Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine, while Naughty Dog is rumored to be working on a remake of The Last of Us.
The PS5 launched in November 2020 in the US, UK, Europe, and other major regions, and has shipped 13.4 million units worldwide.
