PS5 Quantum Error Development Proceeding “Very Fast”, Not Quite A Launch Title Yet

With the list of PlayStation 5 launch titles slowly building up, it seemed like that TeamKill Media’s extremely promising cosmic horror FPS Quantum Error would join those ranks. Alas, that doesn’t seem to be the case just yet. Running at 4K resolution, 60 frames per second and boasting a range of next-generation PS5 features such as hardware ray tracing and Tempest Engine leveraged 3D audio, Quantum Error is shaping up to be quite the PlayStation 5 showcase, but while development is trundling along at a swift pace, the developer cannot commit to PS5 launch timings for the title.

In a statement to PlayStation Universe, a spokesperson for the developer essentially reaffirmed the fact, saying:

It is too early to say yet if QE will release by PS5 launch or how long after launch. Development is going very fast and smooth but, there is still much to be done. So, we will see. We will keep everyone up to date and will definitely make formal announcements when more details are official.

So there you have it – Development on Quantum Error is obviously progressing well, but maybe not quite well enough to guarantee it a spot in the PlayStation 5’s increasingly crowd line-up of launch titles,

In case you missed it previously, a PS4 version of Quantum Error is also in production but for the meantime, the focus is on the PlayStation 5 version of Quantum Error – and quite rightfully so.
