Deep Silver has announced that Saints Row: The Third Remastered for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One is officially happening, with the game dropping on May 22.

Saints Row The Third Remastered will arrive on Sony’s current-generation console with flashier visuals as expected, and it also throws in 30 DLC items and all three mission packs. The game was previously outed via a listing on Game Fly, so we knew it was only a matter of time before it showed up.
Deep Silver previously remastered Saints Row IV for current-generation consoles in the shape of the Re-elected edition, as well as bringing the game to the Nintendo Switch.
There’s been no officially announcement made about the future of the series yet. However, rumors about Saints Row 5 have been doing the rounds for a while now, so hopefully we’ll see a new entry in the franchise emerge in the not-too-distant future.
Saints Row: The Third is seen as the point in which the franchise fully embraces its now-legendary irreverent and bombastic nature, eschewing the GTA clone trappings of the first two games in favour of a more outlandish experience.
