Spiritfarer is a gorgeous new management sim from Thunder Lotus Games. Revealed during E3 2019, the first trailer offers a look at the gameplay mechanics and more.
The first trailer gives us a look at the painted art style of the game and the creative creature designs. On top of being a management sim, the game focuses on the theme of death and afterlife. The PlayStation trailer for the game gives us a bit more detail:
Spiritfarer is a cozy management game about dying. As ferrymaster to the deceased, build a boat to explore the world, care for your spirit friends, and guide them across mystical seas to finally release them into the afterlife.
Indie games were a dime a dozen at E3 2019 this year. Bloodroots was shown off at the Kinda Funny Games Showcase and you can download a demo right now on PC. I have had the chance to play and I loved it. Torchlight 2 will also be hitting consoles later this year, bringing the classic action RPG to the PS4. As well as that, The Sinking City got a brand new trailer at the show this year. The game releases in just a few weeks.
