Square Enix has announced today that the Marvel’s Avengers PS4 Beta was the most downloaded beta in PlayStation history.
This is an impressive achievement and shows just how much momentum there is going into the game’s release this Friday. Hopefully, the post-launch support can help the game and ensure it survives in a genre where so many have fallen.

Square Enix has also confirmed that Kate Bishop will join Hawkeye in the first post-launch operation. During yesterday’s War Table livestream the developer also teased Black Panther DLC in the future but pushed the announcement back due to Chadwick Boseman’s recent passing.
Marvel’s Avengers releases for PS4 on September 4, 2020. The game is coming to PS5 later this year.
