Dauntless Behemoth Guide – Lesser Drask. The Lesser Drask will be the first shock behemoth you face. Also, this will probably be the first fight where you encounter a behemoth that can fire a projectile at you. Lesser Drask can fire a shock beam across the area, try not to dawdle about when you are in the beats eye line. Otherwise, you may get a shocking surprise. This reptilian beast is a danger up close and from afar but should not pose too much of a threat as we are still early on in the game.

Dauntless Behemoth Guide – Lesser Drask – Moveset and Tactics
Lesser Drask is quite a lumbering beast. Nowhere near as fast as the Embermane but packs a punch with its electroblast and various heavy attacks. Look for openings as normal, attack the head only when it’s safe and mostly attack from the side and you will be fine. Lesser Drask has a few moves that give you a massive margin to get in some serious damage. I will go through all the moves below and how to best maximize your damage output.
Hipcheck: Lesser Drask will shift to one side, make sure you evade in time with the hipcheck to negate any damage. At the end of the manouvre, he will take a few seconds to recover leaving the beast open to a few hits or even a longer combo if you are confident enough. If you are lucky to be on the opposite side just follow Drask in and attack to your heart’s content.
Claw Swipe: This move is well telegraphed, Drask will raise his claw and swipe to the opposite side. If you are positioned at the front then evade backwards and follow back in for a few free hits. If you are anywhere else, the attack only hits the frontside so attack at will. Unleash your long combo’s, specials and do as much damage as you can.
Roar: Drask will now and again roar into the air, this is your opportunity for loads of free damage. He will not attack and you are completely safe. Go to town on the beast and unleash everything you have got on him.
Tail Swipe: You can tell this move is coming, Drask will bend his tail to one side. If you are around the tail just reposition yourself to the opposite side of the tail and follow the beast around. You can then get some free hits in and avoid any injury. If you are elsewhere then you should not have an issue with this move, so just keep attacking.
Charge: This is one of the other moves that are good to be aggressive on. Drask will charge forward and then fall over. If you are unfortunate to be in front of him then evade to either the left or right and turn around and chase him down. The reason for this is that he falls over and gives you a massive window to attack. If you are positioned elsewhere just chase him down and attack at will.
Shock Blast: This is Drask’s signature move, he shoots a blast of electricity from his mouth. It is telegraphed well in advance as his mouth lights up with electricity, so you usually know its coming. It has decent range on it so as long as your not facing the beast head on then just attack freely. Otherwise, evade out of the way to the left or right and reposition yourself so you can attack. His blast does have a big hitbox so try to not be in the way of it.
