Resident Evil Village is scheduled for release on May 7, 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. The game takes place a few years after Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and sees Ethan Winters battling against vampire and werewolf-like creatures in a mysterious European village after brushing shoulders with Chris Redfield.
Capcom is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Resident Evil this year, with the original game launching for PSOne in Japan on March 22, 1996.
Beyond Resident Evil Village, it has been heavily rumored that Capcom is working on Resident Evil Outrage, which is supposedly going to be a CODE: Veronica-tier title that will star Rebecca Chambers, the former S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team member who starred in Resident Evil Zero.
