Konami’s recently-announced Silent Hill Townfall is part of an anthology series, according to reliable insider Dusk Golem.
Developed by Scottish studio NoCode, Silent Hill Townfall was announced yesterday during the Silent Hill Transmission event, although very few details were confirmed at the time.
However, Golem, who accurately reported more than 18 months ago that Silent Hill would be making a comeback, claims it’s part of an anthology idea. Furthermore, a number of other indie developers are working on other Silent Hill projects beyond what was announced

Silent Hill Townfall has yet to attract a release date and we don’t even know what platforms it will arrive on yet.
In addition to that game, Konami also announced a Silent Hill 2 remake, Silent Hill f and Silent Hill Ascension as part of its long-term plans to revive the franchise. Elsewhere, Christophe Gans is also working on Return to Silent Hill, a reboot of the movie franchise unrelated to the 2006 film.
