Dauntless Behemoth Guide – Lesser Embermane. The Lesser Embermane will probably be your first foray into the elemental Behemoths. Its a bit faster than what you have fought so far but we are still in the early game, we are still learning the ropes and getting used to the games many systems.
Lesser Embermane is small but very agile and fast. Quick attacks and lightning reflexes are recommended. Embermane is part of the Blaze set of Behemoths, weak to ice attacks and very strong against blaze weapons. If you have an ice weapon, bring it along. It will increase your damage output in this fight.

Dauntless Behemoth Guide – Lesser Embermane – Moveset and Tactics
Lesser Embermane is a lot faster and more agile than your previous Behemoth. The beast will spend most of the time charging at you; positioning and evasion is the key to winning this battle. Stay away from the head most of the time apart from when he is out of breath. You have plenty of opportunities to attack and the battle is not difficult after a few minutes studying Lesser Embermane’s moveset.
Charge: This is Lesser Embermane’s main attack. It will run away from you and charge back at you in a straight line and at the end do a claw swipe. The key to this attack is to stay close but still evade out of the way. At the end of the charge, there is a massive window of opportunity to do some serious damage. You can also just reposition yourself a bit away from the line of the charge and run back in to get some quick attacks in, either works fine.
Out of Breath: This will be your main chance to attack, save your specials and your longer combos for this part of the battle. Due to all the running about, the Lesser Embermane quite often pauses to catch a few breaths. Get stuck in and unleash your highest damage combos and attacks. this is a great opportunity to break the horn of the beast, attack the head if you’re close enough. It’s free time to do so – you are completely safe.
Thrashing: The Lesser Embermane will sometimes thrash around erratically. You can attack towards the back side of the creature but beware of the head, it can catch you as it’s thrashing about. If you feel safe to do so attack the head, otherwise get some safe hits in at the rear.
Horn Sweep: Lesser Embermane will do a wide sweep with its horn. If you’re close enough you can attack the rear side. Otherwise, just avoid this attack and prepare for the next attack. It’s a good opportunity to make sure you are positioned ready to pounce on the next attack from the creature and maximise your damage.
