The Battlefield 2042 Hazard Mode has been teased in Play Magazine, and will reportedly ‘move the Battle Royale concept on’ in ways only Battlefield can.
Battlefield 2042 will utilise up to 64 AI bots to help fill the servers when there aren’t enough human players to fill the 128 capacity.
Battlefield 2042 will reportedly feature Battlefield Hub, which allows players to access remastered classic maps from previous games.

Battlefield 2042 developer DICE has hinted that Cross-Play and Free to Play news for the game will be dropping in the near future.
DICE has revealed that Battlefield 2042 will give players the option of going up against the AI on all maps.
Unlike most games, Battlefield 2042 won’t offer a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade, with you instead having to pay for the Gold Edition of the game.
Battlefield 2042 on PS4 and Xbox One will feature fewer players and a reduced map size compared to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S release.
