If your PlayStation console is stuffed full of games that you don’t want to play anymore (it happens to the very best of us), it certainly pays to know how to delete games on PS4. This is how you delete games on PlayStation 4.
How To Delete Games On PS4
Thankfully, it’s a delightfully simple process too, so allow us to walk you through it below:
- Highlight the game you wish to delete
- Press the Options button on your DualShock 4 controller
- Select Delete
- Your game is now deleted!
One thing that is worth keeping in mind however, is that if you have external USB storage hooked up to your PS4, your game installs will likely be spread between the PS4’s internal storage and your external device.
So be somewhat aware of which games you have installed on each of your storage devices.
Luckily, deleting PS4 games from your external device is just as easy too.
- Go to Settings
- Go to Storage
- Go to External Device
- Go to Applications
- Find the game you wish to delete
- Press the Options button on your DualShock controller
- Select Delete
- Your game is now deleted!
Oh, and if you need to know how to delete DLC and reinstall game data, we have a guide for that too!
